While exploring new natural & cruelty-free makeup brands, I tried some new products from Brija Cosmetics<\/a>. Here\u2019s what I thought about a few items.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The items I ordered were 1 eye primer, 1 cream shadow & 1 powder shadow but I also got some free samples! I enjoyed how well-made and packaged the cosmetics were, but I definitely see more potential for growth in the label with the Brija Cosmetics logo. The sticker looks like it will fade over time and the color doesn\u2019t look as saturated like on the website.<\/p>\n

Cream Shadow in Spiced Tea<\/b><\/a><\/h3>\n

It\u2019s pretty true to color when you wear it. I was surprised at how it felt more silicone-y than I expected for a cream shadow. It\u2019s a pretty color but it does take layers to build up to the color that you see in the pan. For some reason, my shadow pan moves around in the black container but it doesn\u2019t come off so it works for me.<\/p>\n

Adhesive Eye Wax<\/b><\/a><\/h3>\n

It works as a primer for all shadows. I like how it wears and the application process is easy. I just use my fingers and apply a light coat on my lids. I do think it helps my eye shadow last longer but it\u2019s difficult to tell how long because my eyelids aren\u2019t very oily.<\/p>\n

Matte Eyeshadow in Always the Tone of Surprise<\/b><\/a><\/h3>\n

This is my absolute favorite! I love the color when I swatch it but it looks amazing when I use it on my eyes. It\u2019s a powder shadow so it can be susceptible to fall out if you don\u2019t tap out the excess off the brush before you apply. Also I\u2019d like to mention that this is part of the Harry Potter inspired collection which was a cool bonus!<\/p>\n

Eyeshadow in Woogity, Woogity, Woogity<\/b><\/a> &<\/b> Eyeshadow in Topless<\/b><\/a><\/h3>\n

Woogity, woogity, woogity is a light, glittery pink from Brija Cosmetics 90\u2019s collection. I don\u2019t think it\u2019s the right color for my skin tone and it\u2019s too glittery for my taste. But it\u2019s great to get to try out a color from the newest collection. I think it\u2019s possible to wear this as a highlight, however I will pass this on to a friend or family member.<\/p>\n

Topless was the gift with purchase that I was waiting for and it does not disappoint. It\u2019s a very light peachy tone that works great as an everyday color and perfect all over the lid or blended in with other colors. It\u2019s also a great pinky color that reminds me of the Naked3 palette shadows.<\/p>\n

I had to share this photo of the color Always the Tone of Surprise on the outer corner of my eyes. It\u2019s an amazing rust brown color and it\u2019s the perfect natural makeup alternative to the color Fire in the Stila In The Know palette. If you\u2019ve been looking for this color like I have, just go buy it now! You won\u2019t regret it.<\/p>\n

Overall I really enjoyed the makeup from Brija Cosmetics and I will be using these on the daily (especially the Matte Eyeshadow)! The prices are incredibly affordable and it\u2019s a growing company so I love the new releases that come out every so often.<\/p>\n
